39th ANNUAL FOOTBALL PREDICTION CONTEST!!

The world is on the brink of financial collapse, the US economy is just below that of Guatemala, we have added 2.4 trillion dollars to our deficit, the idiot Republicans and moronic Democrats can't agree on what to order for lunch much less what is best for the country (while the Tea Party members want to behead anyone who discusses  lunch), London is burning, half of Africa is starving, Middle Eastern governments are falling like dominoes - I don't know but things are looking sort of bleak.  But wait, what is that faint light on the horizon, could it be, hopefully it is, why yes it's clearer now - it is the football season, the ultimate diversion from our woes.  Oh thank god; who cares about that other crap.  Who is the favorite, where are the polls, what is the point spread and the over/under?  Finally, something truly worth our worries and apprehensions.  And look who is that leading the football season parade, why it is last season's National Champion Auburn Tigers hoisting that BCS trophy high in the air where the NCAA infractions committee still has not found a way to wrest it from their grasp.   We are saved and it is a wondrous event.  Thank you football gods and NFL squabblers for coming to your senses.  And all that means it is time to pick some football games in the 38th annual WEW picking contest - hosted by NMA on his super-duper web-site.  Defending champions are old GWM in the college and Kaintucky boy HBH in the pros.  Let the picking begin.
